Kabocha, straw, and concrete fixed with rivulets of ineffable blue. This is the style scarf that beckons cool days. The concrete half of the scarf is terribly urban, so I’ve left its edge raw. I think it’s more alluring that way. Edgy, they say, metropolitan; while the smoldering tip lends a bit of cozy. This one here is like an old friend, the one you reach for when you want something familiar and easy and warm. The one who will storm the streets with you in youthful celebration, and curl up with you later on when the lights are dim, and the purple-black sky is drawn over bygone days. Wistful, we are, hoping we don’t miss anything. Another day gone, another day gone. Oh, how our days are numbered. We remember to count our many blessings. It is autumn once again.
