Everything that you will find here is made by hand, by me. Much of what I make incorporates vintage textiles, so please understand that there will be imperfections that arise with the age of a piece of cloth. I choose these textiles specifically for this reason, and I feel that they carve out the identity of each piece and truly give it a soul. Most of my pieces also incorporate a fair amount of hand stitching, which contributes to this important wabi-sabi detail, thus, the uniqueness of the piece. I want you to feel confident about your decision to shop here and will accept a return for store credit or exchange within 1 week of purchase in unworn / unused condition. Simply send me an email at francisolivehandmade@hotmail.com and let me know that you want to exchange your textile for another or have a store credit issued. Once I receive the item, I am happy to issue a credit or item exchange. I am sorry but I cannot accept returns for privately commissioned pieces or sale items. Return shipping is the responsibility of the shipper, unless it is being returned due to an oversight in my studio. I encourage you to also insure your return package, as I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items that occur during shipping
IN THE EVENT OF A DEFECT: I try very hard to describe all of my pieces as accurately as possible and do my best to thoroughly examine them before posting. Though I do understand that in rare instances a defect may occur. Please note that the irregularities of a vintage textile (i.e., small holes, marks or discoloration) do not constitute a defect. Each piece is well photographed and described so that you may make your purchase in full confidence, and these irregularities are charming facets of your unique piece.
Remember that the pieces you see here are one of a kind, made by a single pair of hands from start to finish in my small Los Angeles studio. Please allow for 7-10 business days to create and replace your bespoke piece. Any textile that I must replace due to an oversight will receive priority in my studio. As soon as I have forged a new piece, I will reach out to you and let you know that it’s on the way. Thank you for being patient, and thank you for treating your piece as carefully as you would your most cherished garment so that it may last a very long time.
