Ochre Linen Smock Blouse
Ochre Linen Smock Blouse
I told myself I was only going to make one of these smock blouses, so far I’ve made three. Yikes. They are too darling. I was just saying back there with the rust dyed version how much I loved these when I was a little girl. Now I’m thinking, hey, I’m an artist… why don’t I wear a smock every day? Everywhere I go? Life is art, yeah? And since that’s the case, I should be ready to create at a moments notice. Done and done. I’m living in these this summer.
Beautiful ochre plaid linen, as bright as a sunflower to liven even the darkest day. Fits like a medium, I suppose. I’m a small and I wear this one, but I like swingy, blousy things, so… 18.5” measured from underarm seam to seam. 23” long. Neck and arms edged in gold linen. Raw hem. Overlocked seams. Handmade by me. For the little girl in you.
