Third in the smock series this week. I wanted to make this because I imagine it with this favorite pair of jeans I’ve worn regularly for 20 years now, a little more snug than way back when, but hey… I was thinking I would throw this on with the jeans, do a little work in the studio, then pop down to the corner cafe for a cappuccino. The life of an artist. All blousy smock things, art from dawn till dusk, and cappuccinos in between. Ahhhhh, that’s all I’ve ever wanted. Now I can look the part.
Beautiful organic natural linen with red stripes running through. Fits like a medium, I suppose. I’m a small and I wear this one, but I like swingy, blousy things, so… 18.5” measured from underarm seam to seam. 23” long. Neck and arms edged in natural linen. Raw hem. Overlocked seams. Handmade by me. For the little girl in you.
