This lovely is made of vintage Japanese indigo dyed fabric, much of it retains the original boro patches and stitching. I added much reinforcement, such is the joy of boro, and it is enjoying its new life in this scarf. The base fabric of this scarf is likely from early 1900s, and it was full of holes as proof. The blue if phenomenal. Reinforced with shima, kasuri and more vintage plaincloth. Fully hand stitched. 65” wide and just over 13” wide, this scarf can be enjoyed by gents and gals alike.
