These bags are a labor of absolute love, and I cannot decide amongst them which I would sling over my own shoulder, they are all so GOOD. This sweetheart is made of all vintage Japanese reclaimed textile, and the inside is lined with hand dyed/block printed Indian cotton (fair-trade). The one side boasts a beautiful katazome flower, likely a Japanese family crest, and the back is a combination of extant boro and my own mending. The entire thing is hand stitched, including the straps. With an internal pocket to hold your cell phone, it is quilted with many layers so it has a healthy, padded feel. It feels good in the hand, and it’s the perfect size to hold all of your goodies. 12.5” tall x 8.5” wide. The straps, are not so short that you have to contort your arm to slide it over your shoulder, and not so long that it’s awkward. I think it lands perfectly at the hip.
