One.
This is the most recent bag I made. Ummm… WOW! I love her. A bit of this and that textile-wise: organic linens, Japanese small-run linen/cotton, a herringbone wool/silk, rust dyed line, Japanese indigo, and of course, the ‘1’, which I dyed in my organic indigo vat. This is one of the last things I dyed in that vat before I shut her down for winter.
This bag is quilted and hand stitched from strap to the body of the bag, so it has a lovely, organic feel to it. The straps are the perfect length, not too long nor too short, and the inside is a ridiculously fun, kitschy cotton fabric that I adore, with bingo card and viewfinder slide images from days of yore (for all you young people, just know that old people toys like a viewfinder were hot stuff back in the day!) This bag is, in short, THE one. 12.25” tall x 9.5” wide.
THANK YOU for visiting my shop! It means the world to me that you’re here. xo
