She’s the one that started it all. You all know I’m OBSESSED with indigo moons. Well, This one is SO midnight, and the linen is a little on the heavier side, so I set it aside until the perfect project popped into mind. Et, voila! This little beauty was an aha moment, so I stitched her up and never looked back. (My studio looks a little like a pillow workshop at the moment). Her front is made of organic linen, dyed by me in my organic indigo vat, and adorned with vintage Japanese indigo dyed slivers of boro. Her rear is done up envelope style, one layer is organic midnight blue linen, the other is vintage Japanese katazome fabric in a to-die-for floral pattern.
