My studio is aesthetically pleasing. I could never be happy with a strictly utilitarian place to work. I have to be surrounded by things that inspire me. So, I too have a little kit like this. I swap out pin cushions so I never get bored!

This little kit comes with the boro pad and pincushion. The pincushion is filled with homemade sawdust and lavender so it smells nice. I like to park my tools on the pad as I work on a project. It just makes everything that much better, when I reach for thread and needle, scissors and seam ripper (we all make mistakes). This would make a lovely gift for the stitcher in your life. The cushion is 4.5” long by 2.75” wide and the pad is 9.25” long by 5.5” wide. Made with all vintage Japanese textiles. Hand stitched throughout. (Snips and thread not included).

Oh, I have to say something about shipping. As great as Squarespace is, it does not allow me to adjust shipping costs. The shipping is currently about $5 too high for this little kit, so, when you order it, I will refund you the difference in shipping. I find no virtue in pocketing overages in shipping.
