I have pulled this out and put it back into the stack of scarves for my shop a million times I should keep this one… no, no, it belongs to someone else…I should really keep this one, I never keep ANY of my scarves… no, no, someone else needs to have this one, it’s just soooo good... I desperately LOVE this style scarf. It was indeed an OMG moment when I first stood back to look at its orchestration. The rust dyed soooo remarkably this day, and the gradient moon was the first of its experiment. It came out smashingly. The blue is deep and intense. To get a blue this dark, you must dip it oodles of times for long periods in the vat. I began the dye process at noon. I was done around 10pm. Adorned with oatmeal linen with red stripe, a drab ochre linen and a slip of Japanese indigo dyed cotton. Whomever gives this beauty a home is a very lucky soul indeed. I know we aren’t supposed to pick favorites with our children, but frankly, it doesn’t get better than this. 72”L x 17”W. All organic linen. Hand dyed in my organic indigo vat.
