Ochre Cross
Ochre Cross
Ooohh, this one is so good. Sumptuous alternating twill background with a deep ochre cross. This organic linen has a nice wobble to it. It’s mid-weight with a gorgeous drape, and the color is to die for. At the end of the scarf is a snatch of dove gray in baby houndstooth. I must say, whenever I photograph this gray outdoors it ends up looking blue, so I have included a close up of it which I shot indoors so you can see its true nature. Indoor lighting, as a whole, is terrible for fashion photography unless you have great filtered light or all the kit to make it work, which I don’t, so I rely on natural lighting which can have its drawbacks, as evidenced here; thank goodness things like this happen very seldom.
Onward.
I’m always making blue things these days, it seems, so I thought you might appreciate it if I reached into my stash to show some diversity. While I love indigo, color is such a gift that it would a shame to live so monochromatically, don’t you think?
73”L x 15”W. Hand stitched detail. Fabulous hue.
Thank you for visiting my shop. I make lovely things for people who like to feel special, like all. the. time.
