The best way to combat tarnish aside from wearing it—YES, actually wearing your silver prevents it from oxidizing— is to store your jewels in a zip-lock bag with the air squeezed out, and if you can add a little anti-tarnish slip with it, all the better. Incidentally, your lovely has been shipped in a zip-lock along with a little anti-tarnish snip.
