Aperture
Aperture
We stand on the precipice of our interior universe, looking down through the aperture that leads us into the deep unknown, knowing that we should allow ourselves to freefall, but we hesitate. It is not that we have lost our faith in our higher selves, it is that we have forgotten that our personal path is the remembrance of such. Dive in, dear one, you will remember as you fall on the winds of faith into the uknown that you have wings. You will remember that you’ve had them all along.
Enameled steel with a sterling silver band in size 6.5. The void patinated to an inky black. May it remind you, always, to dive into the unknown. You have only yourself to gain.
This lovely is made of steel and enamel. Please understand that enamel is glass, and just as a wine glass would shatter if you hurled it to the floor, likely will this piece if you treat her badly. So don’t treat her badly. While not nearly as fragile as a wine glass, it warrants understanding the elements of her composition. Please don’t wear in the shower, the hot tub, the swimming pool nor in a thunderstorm—I mean, if she rusts a little more, that wouldn’t be such a bad thing, though her components are sealed to protect against the elements. Take her off when washing your hands. Love her madly, dear heart, and she will offer a lifetime of willing service to you..
