The light of summer begins to dim by degrees, imperceptibly at first, then each day the sky dampens with a determination to pull in autumn, giving us a time to turn inward for those long, dark months. For now, we enjoy the moment, wearing our favorite linen dresses with a pair of simple sandals to carry us through the day. This dress is so lovely. It is comfortable. Easy. It loves a picnic and a night out with a little sweater draped about the shoulders. Made of a premium linen from Italy that I’ve had for a while. I think it was waiting for this dress. Fine finished seams, and edged in pink linen. I’ve not attached the belt in case you wanted to wear it as a shift around the house, and those little belt loops are never a pretty thing.
