This is a premium selvedge cotton from Japan. The mouthwatering sea of blue is ornamented with queues of tiny, fawn-colored dots. I took the liberty of adding some fun stitching here and there. I couldn’t help myself. The hand of the cloth is lush and firm, yet soft. I am always pleased with how things come out with it in my studio. It has made its way into quite a few things now. Forget the little black dress. You need this for summer. Trust me.
18.5” underarm seam to seam, 43.5” long. Hand stitched detail. Indigo dyed Japanese selvedge cotton. Fine finished seams. Arms and neck finished in fine midnight blue linen.
