It took everything in my power to make the simple blue pinstriped blouse. I usually start out trying really hard to use a single fabric in a garment and end up using three. As a reward for efforts in simplicity, I gave myself permission to add a boro pocket. Same wonderful blue cotton as the blue pinstriped blouse that crinkles when you wash it, but with the addition of a boro pocket using vintage Japanese fabric. Yay. I have lots of this pinstriped fabric so I can make this to order. But the pocket will differ from the one photographed here, as all of the vintage Japanese textiles that I have in stock are one of a kind. It will be just as lovely. Just different. I’ll be sure to pick some fabrics equally as lovely as that on the pocket here. Raw hem. One of a kind. Fine-finished seams. 24” long x 19” across the chest. Due to its relaxed fit, will happily fit a S-M gal.
